Peter L. Quan is the founding partner of the law office. He has extensive experience in immigration, family law, personal injury and commercial litigation. He has worked with several highly experienced attorneys in New York City prior to opening his law office. In his career, Mr. Quan has successfully represented clients before the federal courts, and the courts of New York and New Jersey on matters of immigration, divorce, personal injury, breach of contract and criminal defense. Mr. Quan is known among his clients for his honest and straight-forward nature, his attention to details, and his ability to simplify and systematically address complex issues.

In addition to his success in the Court, Mr. Quan is an active member of the community. He has published over 200 articles and continues to publish weekly articles in the China Press, Sinovision.net and 888chinatown.net on all areas of law, such as immigration, criminal law and consumer rights. Mr. Quan hopes that his efforts may help inform and educate new immigrants on the U.S. laws and of their rights in the U.S. so they may better protect themselves in this country. Mr. Quan has also served as the legal counsel for several not-for-profit organizations on their internal and external legal matters.

Arrived in the United States as a Chinese immigrant, Mr. Quan knows from first-hand experience how much hardship immigrants can experience in the U.S. and how difficult it is for some of them to earn money. It is usually difficult find a good lawyer that doesn't result in a significant amount of expenses. Knowing this, he makes sure all his clients never spend more time or money than necessary on a case. He will never ask for attorney's fee for basic information on a case.
